Royal Fluff Cloth Diaper Review and Giveaway

When Royal Fluff contacted me and asked if I wanted to review one of their cloth diapers, I checked out their website and immediately accepted!

Royal Fluff was started by a work-at-home-mom and the company aims for ultra soft, comfortable, 100% waterproof durable cloth diapers with original designs. They have multiple designs for both boys and girls, and they also carry plenty of gender neutral designs. Their one-size diapers  are designed to fit a baby anywhere from 9-35lbs+.

Royal Fluff sent me this diaper several weeks ago, but I wanted to use it a number of times before I felt like I give it an honest review, and I have to say, I kind of love it!

The print is bright, and since most of my diapers are solid colors, I love that it is different from most of the diapers I have. The exterior of the diaper is made of a 100% polyester knit with a thin, flexible water-proof polyurethane laminate on the inside (PUL).

All those snaps means that this is a one-size diaper. Sometimes I am a little wary of “one-size” diapers as I’ve had a difficult time getting a good fit with some brands who claim to be one-size before; however, I can get such a snug and trim fit with this diaper. I do wonder if I would have been able to get such a snug fit when Porter was a lot smaller, but at almost 22 months, I can get a perfect fit!

The inside of the diaper is lined with a soft fleece that is safe against baby’s skin. The insert (stuffed in the pocket of the diaper) is made out of three layers of microfiber terry cloth. So far I haven’t had any issues with the microfiber, but I imagine that I will eventually replace the microfiber insert with a cotton prefold (Read more about that here.)  Compared to some other pocket diapers, this diaper does seem a little more difficult to stuff with the insert.

Overall, I am very happy with Royal Fluff cloth diapers. I would definitely not hesitate to purchase some of their diapers in the future. So far this diaper has worn well and washed well. There are no stains (as you can see) and I love the snug fit I can achieve.  Plus, Porter has never leaked when he’s worn this diaper, though I haven’t tried it at night, only during the day.

Royal Fluff has been kind enough to giveaway one of their diapers to one of you! The winner will have the option of a boy, girl, or gender neutral print. Please enter below!
