Disclaimer: This giveaway is brought to you by Fairhaven Health. I did receive the product in exchange for review, but all opinions are 100% my own.
There are a lot of ups and downs when it comes to being pregnant, so when Fairhaven Health contacted me to see if I would review their pregnancy bundle, I couldn’t resist. After checking out the bundle, I saw that most of the products were geared towards the not so glamorous side effects of being pregnant. I said “sign me up!” and I’m so glad because I probably never would have discovered some of these products if I hadn’t!
The pregnancy bundle is full of goodies that any expecting mom would appreciate.
The first item I couldn’t wait to get my hands on was the Dream Belly Stretch Mark Butter. I’ve tried a lot of store bought products, and I even experimented with making my own, but holy moly, I know why this has the word “dream” in the name. First of all, it doesn’t smell like the traditional stretch mark butter or cream. I don’t mind the cocoa butter scent, but the scent of this body butter is so refreshing to me. It has grapefruit and rosehip oil as two of the ingredients, and it is my new favorite thing. It is so moisturizing and it’s a “chore” that I look forward to each morning and night!
I was also excited to try the Tea-for-Two; it is designed to support a healthy pregnancy, tone the uterus, and relieve nausea and morning sickness. I tried it after I had gotten past the morning sickness stage, so I can’t attest to whether it helps with that, but I did not mind the flavor at all. I’ve had it by itself and with a little honey, and it has a mild flavor either way. I think I will start drinking this more as we get closer to baby #2’s arrival, but I really enjoyed it the times I’ve had it so far. It is a loose tea, so a tea ball is needed in order to brew!
The pregnancy bundle also comes with PregEase for Morning Sickness and Heartburn. Again, I can’t attest for how well this works with morning sickness, but I’ve been experiencing more heartburn and acid reflux lately, and I can say that I truly think these chewable tablets help. They are much tastier than Tums (in my opinion) and taking one before bed each evening has helped the discomfort I tend to feel when I am lying in bed.
I am waiting to sample the last item, the Sitting Pretty Soothing Spray, until after birth, but is it strange that I am looking forward to it? Every mom knows that it takes quite a while for those delicate areas to heal after giving birth. And if there’s any tearing involved, just forget about it. This soothing spray includes witch hazel and other essential oils, all designed to help soothe and heal. I (unfortunately) remember the discomfort I experienced after having Porter, so I know I will use this spray. It is definitely going in my hospital bag!
